Quantum dots for the next generation of quantum emitters
Quantum dots for the next generation of quantum emitters
The QD lab at LMU focuses on the development of quantum dots (QDs), which hold immense power to chance the future of conventional light sources and quantum information technology.
To do so, we explore various synthesis methods, with in-situ spectroscopy to unravel the intricate chemistry that drives the synthesis of these tiny light emitters.
This is combined with detailed studies of their optical properties, uncovering the many exciting excitonic features that nanometer sized semiconductors exhibit.
